Page 9a - Rare, Fluorescent Minerals

Minerals and books can be purchased using personal checks, money orders, and Paypal. My address is Stuart Schneider, P.O. Box 64, Teaneck, NJ 07666 and my Paypal name and email address is Stuarts1031at erols.com. Postage and handling, and insurance (if you want it) will be added to your order once the weight is figured. Terms: You can return any item to me within 10 days for any reason. If I misdescribed it, I will refund your postage both ways. If you are dissatisfied, you pay postage both ways. All photos are taken under daylight and Short Wave or Long Wave Ultraviolet (I use a SuperBright brand light). If your light is more than a few years old, the item may look bluer than it looks here. (NF) = non-fluorescent.

Fluorescent quartz, scheelite, & sphalerite from the Taylor Road area, Franklin, Sussex County, NJ. It is rare to find scheelite with quartz. The quartz fluoresces cream SW, the scheelite fluoresces bright pale yellow (looks white in photo) SW (lower photo), and the sphalerite fluoresces blue and orange SW & LW. It weighs 4.6 oz. and is 3.8 x 1.4 x 1.3 inches. $50.00, item #2328

Esperite fluoresces bright yellow SW, clinohedrite fluoresces orange SW, willemite fluoresces green SW, and hardystonite fluoresces purple/blue SW. This is a beauty (nonfluorescent, reddish, sub-vitreous, pearly, sub-metallic) with calcite from the Taylor Road area, Franklin, Sussex County, NJ. The calcite fluoresces red-orange SW.
