Rare Comet pieces For Sale

Items can be purchased using personal checks, money orders, and Paypal. My address is Stuart Schneider, 820 Kinderkamack Road, River Edge, NJ 07661 and my Paypal name and email address is Stuarts1031@ erols.com (note, I put a space in my email address so that automatic email harvesters don't get my email address). Postage and handling, and insurance (if you want it) will be added to your order once the weight is figured. I mail using the US Postal Service with delivery confirmation. Terms: You can return any item to me within 10 days for any reason. If I misdescribed it, I will refund your postage both ways. If you are dissatisfied, you pay postage both ways.

Halley's Comet Commemorative 1910 Silver Spoons. These are hand-engraved Sterling silver spoons that were engraved with Halley's 1910 comet. The bowl of the spoon is originally lightly plated with 14 kt gold to prevent tarnishing. Super rare, but priced reasonably.

A group of Comet pins. The 1835 pins are generally 10 kt to 14 kt gold and are always unmarked. They were made in Europe or possibly England. The stones can be "paste" (glass), non-precious, precious stones (saphires, diamonds), or pearls. 25 mm = 1 inch.

1835 gold Comet pin with enamel work on solid yellow gold and a stone that looks like a white sapphire. 1835 Comet Pin in 14kt gold with 2 diamonds (diamonds are set in silver settings) with matched seed pearls. It is 1/2 inch long and weighs 1.6 grams, item #HC 17-251 (SOLD) 1882 or possibly as late as 1910 Comet Stick Pin of solid gold with seed pearls.
